Iruhuura-PS-group-shotClose up of RUMP makingThe Kasiisi Project provides sanitary pads and  underwear to all menstruating girls in 5 schools. However we do not have the resources to expand this program to the other 9 Kasiisi Project schools.  One way to reach more schools and to make the program more sustainable, is to teach girls to make Reusable Menstrual Pads (RUMPS). Partnering with the Peace Corps RUMPS workshops have been held in 2 schools for students and teachers, girls and boys,  and plans are to bring this technology to all our schools.
