Kasiisi Scholar in new program using dogs to search for ivory at Entebbe Airport

Kasiisi Scholar Imelda Imetur, is working at Entebbe Airport as one of two dog handlers (both women) searching for illegal ivory in bags leaving Uganda. Click here to see the movie! Imelda, who foll0wed high school with a spell in local radio followed by a diploma in tourism has been working for the Uganda Wildlife Authority for some years. Nice when our kids are working to save Uganda’s wild life. Her dog is an Israeli, and so Imelda has been learning commands in Hebrew.
