Harvard Alumni Group Build Beehives at Kasiisi

Kasiisi Project board members Elizabeth Ross and Zarin Machanda led a Harvard Alumni trip to Uganda in June. The group spent a morning with the Kasiisi Project  visiting the farm and Kasiisi Primary School and having lunch with teachers and project staff. In the afternoon we all joined with members of the Kasiisi Wildlife Clubs to build beehives.

The beehives will be used to  build “Bee Fences”  around Kibale National Park to help deter elephants from crop raiding.
