ASSISTANT HEALTH COORDINATOR
Tuhaise Shamilah, a beneficiary of the Kasiisi Project Scholarship Program, attained her diploma in Nursing in December 2019 from Mountains of the Moon University. Coming from a medical background, she works to promote health of school children and communities around Kibale National Park. She achieves that by providing health education lectures to children, teachers, and parents and providing medical services through Kibale Health and Conservation Centre II and Kibale Mobile Clinic in partnership with the Uganda Wildlife Authority. She has been working as the project nurse and coordinator girls health program with Kibale Forest Schools Programme since February 2016.
